Never Say It Was “Not Invented Here”

One pending disaster I see in many providers centres on software and websites. It is called “not invented here”.

For some reason far too many IT specialists believe they can devise far better software on their own than highly resourced professional software companies. They justify it by saying that their issues are different and that standard software will not work for them.

In reality they are sying that anything “not invented here” is of no use.
