It’s Education: But Not As We Know It

Education is Changing: How Long Will Colleges Survive?

Its easy to think that colleges and the type of courses they offer will never change … or need to change.

But the world changes at an increasingly fast pace and new competitors appear as if from nowhere. And they are creating change, even if we don’t recognise it.

Here’s an an example of a free course being offered, where you only get charged if you take the exam. That’s a major disruptive force in rge world of learning and most colleges wither don’t notice the offer or don’t know how to react.

Free courses with accreditation. Pay for the exam only!

Double accredited course
This GCHQ Certified Training course is also accredited by the Institute of Information Security Professionals (IISP).

It has been developed by The Open University with support from the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Programme and can be accessed free of charge.

And let’s not think that this fully accredited course is produced by some new organisation trying to make a name for itself. Let’s not imagine they will fail because they don’t understand the market.

This course is offered by the Open University …. and they are here for the duration!

If colleges don’t recognise the changes taking place around them they will not survive.
